Xtreme Fun Rentals, Inc. When planning an event, Liability Insurance issues are normally raised by the sponsors of your event. Here is a list of insurance requirements that may be required for your event. Special Event Liability Policy - This is normally purchased by the sponsoring organization if it is not included in their general liability policy for their organization. This may or may not be required. Additional Insured by ride company - If required by your organization, Xtreme Fun will list your organization as an additional insured. (there may be an additional cost for this service). Normally the land owner will require a certificate of additional insured from us. The State of Hawaii as well as the City & County of Honolulu as well as most major event sites are already listed as additional insured on our policy. Cost for General Liability Insurance ride companies like Xtreme Fun is skyrocketing. Make sure that all rides are covered under the GL policy and that the insurance is still inforce during your event! Be careful as more and more companies may not have adequate policies to protect your organization. Workman Compensation by ride company - Hawaii state law requires that all workers be covered by Workman Compensation insurance. Make sure that any company working at your event has Workman Compensation our your organization could be liable for an injury to a worker.
